Type of Job
The fee you pay will depend on the type of project, research necessary, and the level of difficulty. The more you bring to the job, the faster and more easily I can do my job.
Start with keywords. If you need to find the right keywords for your website, we suggest you use the keyword tools provided by Very Commerce.
When you have keywords in place, write to enquire. I will ask you questions about the scope of the job, and we can agree together what needs to be done.
Firm Quote
Before a final agreement is made, you will be quoted a firm fee for a specific job. Whether this rate is calculated hourly or by page will depend upon the project itself. In general, you can expect to pay $75/hour for editing and $95/hour for research, writing, and consulting. For each web page optimized for search engine ranking, expect to pay $200-250/page for 250-300 words based on your specified keywords.
Scheduled start and finish dates will be set as prior commitments allow. Depending on the time involved, most smaller jobs can be completed within 4 weeks.
Payments
Once the fee is agreed upon, a contract signed, and a schedule set, you will pay 50% of the agreed upon fee as a deposit (non-refundable once work has begun). The remaining 50% is due upon completion. Final copy will be held until final payment has been made.
You will receive an invoice by email, and payments can be made by credit card, e-check, or PayPal.
